This policy covers how Restaurants Buzz treats personal information that you supply to us. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable, like your name, address, or phone number, or anything else that is not otherwise publically available.

This policy does not apply to companies that Restaurants Buzz does not control or own, or to people that Restaurants Buzz does not employ.

General

Restaurants Buzz collects personal information when you register with our service. This information is then stored in a publically available database - the whole purpose of our site. The information that we aquire includes Name, Restaurant Name, address (including city, street, state, and zip,) phone number, and e-mail address. All but the e-mail address is public knowledge, for the purpose of advertising for you.

We limit access to personal information about you to employees we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide services to you or in order to do their jobs.

Restaurants Buzz will never rent, sell, or share any information it gathers, but cannot garantee an outside company will not just look it up in our directory. The exceptions to the above statement: (a) We respond to Subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights, or defend against legal claims. (b) We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, vilolates Restaurants Buzz's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

Restaurants Buzz does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.

Cookies

Restaurants Buzz may set and access it's own cookies on your computer.

Restaurants Buzz may allow other companies that show advertisments on some of our pages to set and acccess their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to Restaurants Buzz's cookies.

Restaurants Buzz only uses one cookie at this time. The cookie is for the forum only. It only saves login information for that portion of the site, for ease of use.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Restaurants Buzz may update this policy at any time. We will notify you about any significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending an e-mail to the address you register with, or by placing a prominent noctice on our site.
